Step 1

Constraint screening

Each candidate material is checked against the rule catalogue. The model only ranks materials that already cleared the screen.

Preliminary screening only
Draft screening only. This is a prototype rule catalogue that has NOT been reviewed or approved by the responsible pipeline, materials/corrosion, process and integrity engineers, and has not been checked against the governing design code or client specification. Results are not a determination of suitability.

Quick start

Same pipeline in all four — only the engineering data changes. Each step removes one more candidate, so you can see the screen working.

Pipeline parameters

These six parameters alone cannot determine suitability — every material will return “needs data” until engineering data is supplied.

Each material is screened

Every candidate is checked against the rule catalogue on its own. It either clears, is ruled out, or needs more data.

Cleared materials are ranked

Only materials that cleared the screen are ranked by the model. Ranking never overturns a screening result.

You apply engineering judgment

The decision matrix weighs your own cost, risk and availability scores against a capped ranking signal.
